Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm to produce clean energy for more than 3 million homes in UK

This expansion project, which started in 2020, is aimed at improving the capacity and efficiency of the port of Balikpapan, and is part of the Indonesian government's initiative to modernise its ports and strengthen the country's logistics.

Sarens will contribute with the lifting of vessels and heat exchangers used in the manufacture of modules for large-scale construction and industrial projects, such as custom steel structures and pre-fabricated components used in heavy lifting and transportation.

This will be the second GDS data center to be recently set up in the area, following the opening of Phase 1 of the Nusajaya Tech Park (NTP) campus in August 2023, with a total net floor area of 225,000 sqm and 69.5 MW.

Sarens has been commissioned by PT Krakatau Jasa Samudera to collaborate on the transportations, handlings and heavy lifts during the next year.

The construction of this new plant is in addition to the expansion of acrylic acid production in the region, which already stands at 240,000 tons per year, to meet the increased demand for this compound in the Asian market.

The award was granted by TTCL (Toyo-Thai Corporation Public Company Limited), recognizing the dedication and hard work of the team on the ground.

Sarens was commissioned to work with PT Shinko Plantech on the shutdown maintenance job of PT Asahimas chemical plant in Cilegon which posed a huge challenge for the company, as there was very limited time in the shutdown to finish the job.

The latest expansion of the RDMP Balikpapan plant, property of Pertamina, Indonesia's state-owned oil company, will increase the plant's processing capacity by 100,000 barrels per day.

This project, located in the Taiwan Strait, will have a power generation capacity of 2.4 GW capable of supplying green energy to approximately one million Taiwanese households.
