With the addition of three new senior staff with extensive experience and recognition in the sector, Sarens seeks to more easily identify the needs of its clients and provide an immediate response, regardless of the size of the project.
The civil construction industry in Florida continues to expand, employing more than 620,000 people by the end of 2023, and this year is expected to see strong growth in jobs and new project development.
In a context in which civil works turnover is expected to exceed $280 billion throughout the USA according to The American Institute of Architects, Sarens continues to consolidate its team with professionals of great experience and prestige in the sector to more easily identify the needs of its current and potential clients, and thus offer an appropriate and satisfactory response, regardless of the size or magnitude of the project.
With the incorporation of these new personnel in the different offices in the state of Florida, Sarens, global leader and reference in crane rental services, heavy lifting and engineered transport, continues to reaffirm its commitment to the quality of service for its customers, which is also reflected in the continued investment in the renewal and improvement of its fleet of machinery and cranes, one of the largest and most important in the world.
One of the professionals who has recently joined the Florida unit is Brandon Rowe, who will take on the position of Depot Manager. Rowe, a crane operation specialist with more than 4,500 hours of accredited practice, comes from Sarens unit in Canada, where he oversaw the dispatch and operations of the Crosslinx Subway Project in Toronto. The Depot, which Rowe will coordinate, will carry out critical state and provincial infrastructure works. According to the Depot Manager, ‘Every day is a new challenge, although the team we've built is a pleasure to be around and are all motivated to succeed’.
Wayne Hogan will take over as Operations Manager. With more than 20 years of experience both as an operator and in senior sales positions at some of the state's leading utilities, Hogan, a highly regarded professional in Florida's energy sector, will work directly on the maintenance and installation of critical infrastructure on projects such as the Florida Power & Lights Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Station. "Sarens provided me with an opportunity to grow professionally with a company that's global. I would like to grow within Sarens and continue learning all aspects of the crane industry,’ Hogan said.
Tony Gourley will be responsible for the position of Key Account Manager. With more than 40 years of experience in the industry in positions of varying responsibility in some of the most important companies in the state, whether as Operation Manager, Safety Director or Sales Manager, Gourley will focus on operations related to HVAC, communications infrastructure, building and restoration works and highway roads and bridges, among others. About his current experience at Sarens, Gourley recalls that “I like to work with customers on their crane needs and show them solutions to their projects. Putting cranes in places that others say can't be done is what I like best of my work".
According to Thomas Baldree, Country Manager for Sarens in the USA, ‘We are very pleased with the expertise that our staff in Florida brings. In addition to being a great human team, they will all contribute to the training of their younger colleagues, which will result in a better, more efficient and sustainable service for our customers.
These incorporations continue in the line of human reinforcement that is being carried out in the different depots of the company in the USA. Recently, Sarens opened a new branch in Beaumont and Odessa, Texas, to offer a closer and more personalized service to its customers, especially in the Oil&Gas sector.
